I have been using Meru Cabs for the last few years now, but a recent incident showed how irresponsible these guys are. There is no reliability for these people. Also there was no regret message from the cab company.
When the entire industry is raising concern about the safety of passengers, these guys did not have the basic courtesy to make alternative arrangement.
On 19th December I booked a cab for my sister, who was supposed to be picked up from Shankar Vihar, Army Cantonment, Delhi at 6PM in the evening.
I booked the cab online and received the confirmation 20 minutes prior to the cab reaching the pick up location. I got a confirmation(Reference No: 33091334) with the cab driver number.
When I called to enquire if he has reached the location, he told me that he will not be able to reach the location as there is some problem.
He told me to make alternative arrangement and hang up the call. I tried reaching Meru cabs, but their number was constantly engaged.
I immediately made another arrangement talking to a local cab service. This is the plight of Meru cabs.
I would like to raise some important questions here - How do you rely on these kind of pathetic service?
What would happen if you are stranded in a place late in the night, especially if the passenger is a woman? Is there any accountability for such kind of poor service?
I would recommend customers to avoid this service. Pathetic service, very poor.
Only advice is to avoid this service in future.
