Hi All,
I have booked a cab(timing: 9.45 AM on 12/11/2014) from Marathahalli to Bangalore International Airport almost 24Hrs prior through Mobile App. And I got a confirmation message saying that the booking is confirmed.
As usual, before 20 mins I got a message with the driver and Chauffer details, when I call the Chauffer driver, he said that he is stuck in traffic and he is not coming for the pickup.
Then I called Meru people again, then they said that "We will get back in 10 Mins", after 10 Mins I got a message saying that we are still searching for the available cabs meanwhile you can also do your alternate arrangements.
I really DO NOT understand how can one will arrange in the span of 5 - 10 mins,
Fortunately, I got a cab from my favorite cab service(none other than OLA Cabs) in 25 mins, then my watch shows the time as 10.30, Ola cab driver almost tried maximum to reach the Airport on time, he just took 1Hr in typical Bangalore traffic, but unfortunately my uncle missed the light, Here I am not blaming Ola cabs because the Ola driver tried as much as he can.
When Meru cab cannot arrange a cab for me they could have informed at least 30 - 40 mins prior, so that I could have arranged for other alternatives.
So friends, I request you to be ready other alternatives though you have a booking confirmation from Meru( Coz you may also experience the same)
And Ola to Ola cabs.:)
