I booked a meru Cab to railway station for 03.00 pm to catch a train at 05.00 pm , I asked the driver to wait for some time , He said he will wait for 5 minutes
Later I receive a call from meru customer care to speak with the driver as he is not willing to wait , I call up the driver and he says , HE HAS ALREADY LEFT and asks me to call the customer care so that a new cab can be arranged for me . He left even without informing me .
Having no trust in Meru left I booked an auto rickshaw and reached the station a couple of minutes before the departure of the train
This was the service from the so called premier and reliable service provider . I raised a complaint against the episode. Meru cabs called after the INVESTIGATION and told me that Meru cabs has "NO WAIT POLICY" and the driver can leave if you are not there in 20 mins time . I assume you cant even pay them the waiting charges .
So I would like everyone to know about this policy of MERU before going for any booking with them , The corner transport guy seems to be more reliable than Meru to me. If any one from Meru reads this. Can you inform this policy to the customers at the time of booking so that the people assuming meru to be reliable do not miss their flight /trains ?
