I tried booking a cab(2 days in advance) from my online and handset account and got a msg, "Cab unavailable". I tried from another phone number and received a confirmation. Since the other account was not mine and did not want to have the other person keep directing the cab driver, I called up customer service with this issue.
I was told(surprisingly) to delete my account and recreate a new one. However, there is no deactivate / delete account on the MERU website. I called back and was told someone would get in touch with me. No one did.
I called back and wanted to book the cab through the customer service but was told that I will be charged Rs 40 extra for this "service".
So here I am, trying to point out an issue with their online booking and am getting a message that I will be charged extra.just amazing.
