My email is spammed from Meru Cab almost everyday saying about their cab service in Kolkata. I tried it this time when I was in Kolkata for a month

They’confirm’ the booking . not sure what the hell that means, telling you that the driver’s details will be sent 20 mins prior to the scheduled pick up.
I have tried Meru thrice and twice the service ditched me. Once, I had to call them 15 mins prior to the pick-up to find out that no cabbie will be there. The other time, the Cab was in a different district altogether, it was looking for small unknown place in some small district in Bengal whereas I wanted a pick up from a major heart-of-the-city location in Kolkata.
The problem mostly lies with the buggers sitting at the call centers in some south Indian city who have no knowledge about Kolkata’s geography.
