They should change their caption from "RELY ON US" to "Struggling to be relied upon." No matter Ola Cabs are doing well, Meru Cabs was the first ones to venture out in cab reservations online on a large scale and they are failing a big time right now. I would face hundred different troubles if I rely on them.
Yesterday, I booked the cab from Central Mall, Jayanagar and I got the confirmation SMS saying the cab will be there to pick me up in 15 mins. Again, as their tag says, I relied on them and finally I had to call the cab driver asking where he is, and he said, he was in Rajajinagar which is like 20 KMs away from where I should have been picked up. Finally, irritated, I chose Ola cabs and they were fast in response without any hassle. The cab was there in our eyesight within 2 mins as they claimed on their app. Now this is called service.
And about the discounts, be sure to not just draw a star aside your big captioned numbered discounts like 25 percent and what not saying Conditions applied, be clear about it on the user interface itself. The customer generally is in a hurry and does not want to give a piece of mind into reading your clauses where we would avail your discounts.
Last but not the least, start revamping your services. And a word to all the cab services, start training your drivers if possible into how to deal with your customers, sometimes we are faced by some rude drivers.
Make the service pleasant, I know, there will be efforts going on and leaks happen, but they should not be that bigger that the customer cant take it out of his head and not use your service ever again.
