Concise: I suffered for relying on MERU in Bangalore. I suggest you avoid that situation.
I had to pick up my parents from Majestic Railway station and thus, I have booked a cab at 12:45PM and promptly I got a message confirming the booking and at 12:15, I received another message confirming that the driver is waiting near the pick-up point. Perfect.
But, when I reached the station and was searching for the cab, I dont see anything there. I didnt receive the cab driver details message either. I tried reaching customer care and after 15 mins, I got through. The operator then asked me to hold on the line for another min and delivered the death blow. The confirmation message is a mistake and there is no cab at all.
Absolutely pathetic. Had they did not send me that confirmation message, I would have made some other plans. Instead, because of their callousness, I had to suffer and it costed us a lot of money, time and energy at the last minute.
I strongly suggest, DONT RELY ON MERU.
