I had given my Ikon for service to Metro Ford recently and they had promised delivery at 6 pm in the evening. During the day I kept getting calls stating that something or the other is not working and needs to be replaced and the amounts mentioned was nothing less than Rs.2, 000 each. I was really upset of the fact that they were not ready to give exact estimates and the bill amount they mentioned was around Rs.22 K when I had only approved for Rs.17K. I objected and blasted them to say that I would not pay the difference and Rs.17 K is all that I am paying and spoke to the Manager etc. They had promised the delivery on Saturday but delivered only on Monday that too after speaking to them.
The Manager then stated that he would look into the matter and the Bill amount was reduced to Rs, 17 K as discussed which shocked me even further that how could they have given an estimate of Rs.22K when the bill amount was Rs.17K or if I had not approved the total bill would they have reduced the entire amount. Is this a play to get more approvals for higher amount so that they can loot the customer.
Hence please beware of Metro Ford Bangalore.
