Metro ''Cannot access my account''

I have had this phone for 6 days, and I want to return it...each day I try to justify it, but then something makes me realize this thing isn;t what it cracks up to be.

OK, I do not have the greatest credit, and do not want to dedicate to a 2 year contract, BUT this phone and service is NOT worth a hoot

I called their CUSTOMER UNSERVICE today to find out if I had gone over the 60 minutes in my first 6 days, and was told ’’We may not be able to get into your account due to the solar flare up and sun spotting activity’’, this before she even tried to check on my account. Sounds like she already expexted to not be able to check on my account...makes me wonder....

So she puts me on hold for many minutes, and comes back to tell me that she cannot get into the system due to computer problems....? Sounds fishy to me...

I told her that today I will take my phone back to Newpark mall in Newark, and demand a return on it, even if I did go over the limit of 60 minutes in 7 days.

If they cannot get into my account, how can they assist me? No wonder they have the new plan of $40/month for lng distance included, it saves them time with customers since they can never access the customer accounts.

By the way, if you want to email text messages to your phone from email or web interface, cellnumber@metropcs.sms.us (cellnumber is all 10 digits) and it will go through very fast. I tell you these things to the poor saps reading this who wish they got to return their phone.

https://mymobileguardian.com/MG_conventions.htm will give you the email address type for most phone carriers to do the same email to phone.

I will write a review later today to tell my return story.
