All I saw when I signed up with MGID was a load of titillating images and rubbish gossip about celebrities. Much of their so-called news is fake, as is much of their’traffic’, which they claimed to generate to my site, but is just artificially generated by using bots.
The’actual’ traffic they did provide was seriously low quality in the form of invasive pop-up and pop-under ads, which made my site virtually unusable. What’s worse, some of these ads had back-links to Asian porn sites and what appeared to be links to child pornography!
All in all, the’traffic’ they generate was offensive garbage, and I couldn’t remove their widget quickly enough.
