MGM probably used to be a good hospital. It’s not anymore.
It probably is the only option in Vashi for a good hospital in case of emergency but be prepared for pathetic service.
Few doctors are really nice. But the nursing and cleaning staff is just bad.
My mother was in the women’s ward for a month. I was with her every night. And the ward staff is downright insensitive.
The nurses don’t answer to the patient calls. I’d have to run after them 4-5 times so they’ll come and check. Even after that the nurses won’t do much to help. They have a massive communication problem. I’ve seen patients getting up to switch off the lights and fans in the night because the nurses and cleaning staff would put the lights/fans on, do their work and go.
The food is just sad. My mother fell sick because of wrong diet suggested by the hospital. There seems to be a general lack of empathy.
I would rather take some pain and take my family to a better hospital even if it’s a little far off.
