Review : MHSS College of engineering is located in center of south mumbai and hence first thing about the college that either you travel via central line, western line or harbour line, college is easy accessible. Hence, it is not like other engineering college which are hard to locate in map of mumbai.
Now to the basic, education quality. This is the only college (as far as I know) where you would find lectures full, libary full and syllabus in most of the subjects getting complete by the end of semester. Basically, this is no fun college.
’’Profs’’: - here you would find mostly every type of professor. There are einstein catogary which know each and every bit of subject they are teaching and the ones you start class with ’’once upon a time’’. ratio to sincere to namuna type is about 1 sincere : 2 namunas.
It good for college to have sincere type of profs as all other college you can find namunas, but sincere ones are extinct categories. Regarding, marks and examination practice, this is part of college which hurted me the most during my 4 years of engineering.
Here, first, I like to talk about is examination cell. It’s cell which is responsible for all examination conducted in college under mumbai university and passing out the marksheet. And let me tell you friends, if you have seen Govt. Babus, and though that they are lazy bots, then here you will enter a another level of lazyness.
They the most kham chors, inhelpful and arogant people you can find on this planet EARTH.
First, thanks to Mumbai University, where our college is afflilate to, plans examination time-table like they litterally want to f**k off the students. It’s fate has to share by entire mumbai engg. students. But there pain stop here, where saboo pain begins from here.
Examination cell doesn’t issue mark sheet of earlier sems until your children are of age to study in that sems. Also, they think they are GODS of exams. If you want to fill KT form, they verify and ask for proof more then Bank loan officers. But, when it comes to Marksheets, they care the least with series of error that can literally destroy your career.
Rest of things in college is ok, like campus which is as vast and barren as Sahara Desert and canteen, every one vada pav means garantee you two days in loos. There is also another phenomenon in college known as Saboo Ka Duk. I am talking about BABES. If you spot of these species, then it displayed in entire college for years to come.
