Mi Band 2 is one of the most cheap and reliable fitness band out in the market. The best part is always its price to performance ratio and I am writing this review after using for more than 8 months. So I am divided my review between the best part and the worst part.
Best Part: -
Its battery life, charge it with the supplied charging credle and it took around 60-70min to fully charge it. And giving me 15-25days of battery backup. It depends upon how you are using your Mi Band. If you are using the heart rate sensor frequently then it will take more battery so you will get less backup. If you use less heart rate sensor more battery life thats it.
Accuracy- Fitness tracker is more or less accurate I cant check with other fitness tracker as I dont have other. But my assumption is 90% accurate.
Band Quality- Display is visible in indoors very easily but in outdoors with very bright sunlight visibility is very minimal. You can view the display at some certain angles. The band strip is really good but it has some cons I will tell you in the worst part about it.
Mi Fit app- To sync data of your band you have to use this app and its really helpful to know your daily activity.
Worst Part: -
Band Strip availability- Additional strip is not available in Mi store or any other ecomerce site. But you can buy unofficial strip from Banggood or from AliExpress.
Display quality- As the display is not guarded with any screen protector or any glass it can easily be scratched so be very careful.
Heart sensor- Thats the most pathetic part of this band, very inaccurate and sometimes it doesnt able to measure the heart rate. Xiaomi should up the bar in the next version of Mi Band with more accurate and reliable heart rate sensor.
