My brother bought this TV from a local store. After going trough a multiple TV shops and having features and looks of almost all TV in this range(Samsung, LG, Sony), we were lured by the seller to get this TV. No doubt you won’t get a TV of 100cm of other brands at this price range, but what we felt like that we were played. The video quality is great, I must say. I can’t say much about the sound quality of the TV as we were using a Sub-Woofer. To our utter surprise, the TV lasted only a year. The warranty period was about to over, when the TV screen went off. Yes, there was no video but only the audio can be heard. We took it to the nearest customer care where they took a month to repair it and charged a hefty amount. Post repair, the TV lasted for only a couple of months and now the same problem persists. We don’t know what to do. We have again took it to the Customer service center and now they are talking about some LED Strips to be brought from other parts of the country and they are still awaiting for the delivery.
Not only this, one of my brother’s friend is having the same problem with the same TV. I somehow feel cheated. Never go for Micromax TVs please.
