The smartphone is just as good as other micromax smartphones, but there are things that you should know about Micromax A106(Unite 2). These things are not discripted to you when you purchase the product.
1.In a smartphone there are two memory storages. The one which is internal and the other is’External SD card’(memory card). But in Unite 2 there are three memory storage which is a major drawback. You get 5 GB usable internal storage for all the media files(videos, music, pictures, etc.) and contacts. You can input an SD card for more space for above stuff. But for applications there is a special storage assigned which cannot be increased and the applications cannot be stored in the internal and sd card storage. The space available for applications is exactly 0.89 GB which means you can install maximum 5-6 applications because the default internal applications already take 80% of the space. Nowadays Whatsapp, Facebook/Messenger, Instagram are the’must-be’ applications! So after that you hardly get to install 2 applications(3 if you are lucky). [Do have a Look at the screenshot]
2.If you are using Unite 2 with a 4.4. KitKat and ifyou upgrade it to 5.0 lollipop, then the phone is as good as dead! 40% of the functions and applications stop responding.(Theathering and hotspot, google play services) Upgrade the phone and it’ll be a nightmare.
