I was searching for a phone like Samsung Grand, Note II etc for long.When they released them in the market price was too high. I mean I buy a phone for merely a year or max 2 years .I can’t go on using same phone year after year for that I needed 12-15 K budget but these phone were 25-30K so was bit depressed.Then while searching I saw this Phone (Micromax Canvas 2). I am a brand person, to be frank, from watch to shoes, clothes to perfume whatever I buy needs to be from good brand, but when I saw this phone I really liked what I saw. Great features, great looks. Price wise fitting into my budget. Everything was fitting. I started exploring and knowing and comparing it with Samsung. I was left with 2 options this and Samsung S Duos. I came to know about servicing.Only thing that Micromax lacks.Samsung provides good after sale service where as Micromax can’t. But it’s all luck in case of electronics items I believe. Have seen Sony getting problems.I myself had problem with Sony Ericsson W595i. Bought Samsung Wave 533 after that it worked fine.So it’s all in the luck.You never know even Samsung can betray you. So after thinking a lot I took the chance and bought Micromax Canvas 2.
I had some issues with Snapdeal first.(Read my other review to know about them). Then went to a shop and bought it. 3 weeks on it’s working fine. Smart Features, smart looks. Best thing is price. Well you can’t give everything in that price. You will provide good after sale service, exact phone like Samsung, good features and half the price, all are not possible.
I just hope this phone works fine for a year or 2. I will be fine with that. Trust me this phone is no where down than Samsung phones like Grand, Note II unless u r extreme gamer. I play simple games(temple run, Angry Birds, Snookers, Aiming Games), use net for facebook , mails , chat , whatsapp , GPS , calls, sms. It’s working fine. No issues till now.
I will recommend to buy this phone if you want value for money. But take good care of it. Try not to drop it from hands, make it wet etc. Keep it like a baby. I think it will work fine.
