I bought canvas 2 a month back and it is working fine, however there are some cons in this mobile which I would like to highlight You cannot enable data if phone is lock which can be done in samsung pressing power key for long thus when u forget pattern on micromax canvas 2 it asks for gmail id & password. No matter how many times you enter your password correctly it will not unlock unless and until internet is on.
However you need to unlock in order to enable internet hence problem remains the same. I faced same issue today and went to Micromax authorized center in Dombivli east pingle chowk but they said it is ur fault and you have to pay 450/- for that. I mean 450 for what? just factory reset ???? as I needed my contact information badly I had to pay them to just unlock my pattern which could have possible if they have provided one option to enable internet from some other key.
Thus warranty doesn’t stand still in this matter as per them.
