The new Doodle

Today I will be reviewing the new installment from Micromax in the Doodle series. Micromax first launched it with 512MB ram and with Jellybean OS but after Kitkat was introduced they launched it with gb ram and Kit-Kat os.

Camera and Internal Storage

The primary camera of Doodle 3 is 5mp with a LED low light similar to the most android phones in this budget. There is also a secondary VGA camera, enough for making low quality video calls.

The internal storage is 8Gb and there is alsoe a option for upgrading it to 32gb using external SD card. Best storage that can be expected from this price range

Processor and Battery

The phone comes with a MediaTEk MT6572*2 1.3Ghz dual core processor. It also has Mali GPU

400 with single core by ARM holdings plc/ ARM Norway, which is ok for light gaming

Battery is 2500 mAH. Micromax claims 260 hrs of standby time and 9 hrs of talktime. But in my opinion it wont last with the web browsing and the heavy 6 inch display

Display and other features

It has a massive 6 inch display and 854*480 pixel. which is quite good for this price range

The phone runs on latest android 4.2.2 KIT KAT which means it will get access to all the latest features. There is a option of Dual sim both macro. The only thing that it missess is the stylus which was with the previous version of Doodle phone

on an average this is a pretty good phone for this price range . But micromax should not have launched it as a Doodle phone as users were expecting more processing power they should have launched it as a normal phone. As a Doodle phone it is quite disappointing
