Received Defective Handset A350 frm MMX Estore

This is the pathetic experience of a poor customer who got defective handset from MMX Estore.


I recently ordered (online) MMX A350 Canvas Knight thro MMX estore and got it delivered (with multiple follow up) at last on 17th march. When I unbox and checked the features after putting sim, I realised there is issue with speaker as it doesn’t work and at the same time when I connect internet to check playing videos for confirming speaker issue, there was excessive heat felt in the top.


When I tried contacting customer service for reporting the issue of supplying defective piece, I was told to visit service center in my city to get it fixed. I got really annoyed and questioned them why should I visit service center for not of my fault after paying 20k.


But customer care representative repeatedly telling without even hearing my concerns and told this is the only solution to get phone replacement or even to replace speaker.


also I asked to connect the call to customer care representative’s supervisor and he told he will raise callback service request and gave SR no: 2503148535.


In next one hour, I got a call from mmx with representative name Kamal claiming he is supervisor and repeated the same to visit service center which I didnt agree for below reasons:




  • it is defective piece delivered to customer which is mmx mistake.




  • Quality not assured before delivering product to customer






When I insisted how can mmx expect customer to get it fixed running behind service centers after paying 20k to the product for not of his fault, he kept repeating the same and as in a sudden disconnected the call.

7th april 2014:


got it back from service center where they replaced speaker with new one on 4th april.


During delivery, checked speaker it works fine.


on 6th april I noticed speaker volume gone down heavily and today morning back to same old issue. ie speaker not functioning.


visited service center again this morning and left it for fix. service center representative promised for 2 days and if not ready that time, handset will be classified under L3 service which will take 15 days as it will get fixed in main technical center(north).


My observation: wherever phone gets charged, it carries impact in speaker as charge point designed in handset next to speaker since speaker issue started after it both on 5th & 6th april.
