Micromax launched their budget friendly Android Smartphone named- Micromax Bharat-2 Ultra in end of October-2017 which is priced at around Rs.2899. This phone is a bundle product made by collaboration of Micromax and Vodafone. And this is one of the wastage of money phone in this price.
The phone comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB Internal Storage ( as already seen on Micromax Bharat-1) . It has a 4.0 inch IPS LCD screen with no such glass protection with WVGA resolution, though it is having an IPS panel, viewing angles are really bad color distortion and the pixels are also very less, so the screen is also not very sharp. Touch is also not very smooth and the response is just okay.
Now, coming to processor configuration, the phone is equipped with a Quad-Core powered Spreadtrum Processor which is a useless processor also the RAM is very limited, the multi tasking experience and even the complete UI is very Laggy. Now, moving to the camera specifications, it is having a 2MP Rear Camera and 0.3MP Front Camera. The camera quality is poor.
It comes with a 1300mAh battery, which not decent enough to run whole day for an Android Device. The complete phone built is made up of Cheap Quality Plastic material.
This phone supports Dual SIM in which 1st SIM slot support 2G/3G/4G and 2nd slot support only 2G. The in-call speaker quality and loudspeaker quality is good. WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS comes built-in. OTG is not Supported.
Now, let me tell you about Vodafones budle plan. After purchasing this phone, you must have to recharge a minimum amount of Rs.150 every month continuously upto 18 months ( either in one go or in some installments as you wish) then Vodafone will refund you Rs.900 into Vodafone m-pesa wallet and then again if you continue that recharge scheme upto another 18 months then Vodafone will add another Rs.1000 in your m-pesa wallet, which you can withdraw or check out for future uses. Which is not a good plan if you compare with Jio Phones bundle offer. Moreover, the Smartphone they are providing is specifications wise good for the price point but as it is an Android Running Smartphone, the specifications is just useless ( wasting of money) , also it is running Android Marshmallow 6.0. Technically, the phone cant handle Various apps even with basic operation, it will struggle which results out laggy user experience.
Conclusion: The phone is good if you look at the price, but the phone will not perform well due to its low grade specifications, also the plans provided by Vodafone is also not impressive, better to opt for Jio Phone which is far better than thsi Android Smartphone. But, if you want to buy a smartphone, then I will suggest you to spend some extra money and get a good Android smartphone. I will strongly not recommend this product. Totally, wastage of money.
