Hello friends, today I am writing my review on Micromax Canvas 1 phone. It is a mid range budget phone costing around 6000 rupees and this phone belonged to my mother. I personally used this phone for around 2 months but I am not satisfied by this product. The phone is made of cheap quality material and its looks are terrible. Looking at its hardware and software specification, I thought that this phone would be very promising but I was totally wrong about that and buying this phone was just a waste of money.
Talking about the build quality, the body is made of cheap quality material and it feels very uncomfortable while holding this phone. It has a capacitive touch screen which is very unresponsive and app crash is very common.
However, looking at its hardware specification, one can easily say that this phone can run anything, but the ground reality is totally different. It has a quad core mediatek processor and 2GB RAM but you can’t run facebook and snapchat at the same time and lagging problem is also very common. The audio output from phone speaker is of poor quality but if you are using a earphone then the sound quality is just fine.
The camera is also of poor quality. It has a 8MP rear and 5MP front camera but the photo captured are of very low quality. The battery backup is also not good. I used to charge this phone 3 times a day and the battery level drops at very fast rate while using youtube and playing games.
If you are looking for a mid range phone, then please don’t waste your money on this phone. I will not recommend you this phone based on its poor performance and cheap quality.
