I bought this phone almost two years back in November 2014. I have been using this phone with no major lag. I will review this point keeping in mind the competition it had it that point in time. This phone could have been much better. I have some mixed reviews about this phone, which I will describe in PROS and CONS.
Pros of Micromax Canvas Nitro A130
The advantages or specialties of the Canvas Nitro are:
5 Inch HD IPS display with 178 degree viewing angle.
1.7 GHz Octa Core processor with 2 GB of RAM.
Decent battery life.(Keeping in mind – using WIFI, 3G, GAMES on regular basis)
Android 4.4.2 with smart notifications and Okay Google feature.
Leather back finishing and Anti fingerprint coating on screen.
Good Network connectivity.
Cons Of Micromax Canvas Nitro:
MMX could have added a power backup of atleast 3000-3200 MAH in this monster.
The disadvantages or drawbacks of the Canvas Nitro are:-
Average Camera through its 13/5 MP. Phone gives decent pictures/videos in day light, but when it comes to low light it is lacking.
No Corning Gorilla Glass(Only anti fingerprint coating) oleophobic coating
Lacks LTE(4G) Support.
Lacks OTG(On The Go) support.
Poor after sale support.
There are no updates till now for latest android version.
