Micromax Canvas Tab is a great tab if this is your first tab. I got this tab for my nephew. for its very good as he will be using it mostly for studying and casual gaming.
the Tab is having a 8 inch 1280X800 IPS display with good viewing angles. Last night I watched few videos and a movie, well I was surprised with the color production of the screen. Since it is a 1280x800 resolution display you can easily watch 720p videos.
The only down side of this Tab is the 1GB RAM. Well I forgot to tell you about the specs. Here it goes, 1.3GHz Quad Core MediaTek Processor, 1 GB RAM DDR3, 16 GB in-built Storage expandable upto 32 GB, whopping 4000 MaH Li-Po battery, dual sim support, 5MP rear/2MP front, Flash, Dual box Speakers, free goodies.
Well the processor is fine but due to 1GB RAM it tends to jigger at times. If you have too many apps running in the background then you will be noticing few lags here and there. Playing high end games will not give you a good experience but you are good to go at lower settings. I played Asphalt 8, Mortal Combat 5, Need For Speed Most Wanted, etc. they all played well only when I used low or medium setting.
Camera
The TAb is equiped with a 5MP rear shooter and a 2MP front shooter. The 5MP auto focus shooter does its job pretty well for casual photography, don’t expect much. the front fixed focus is good to go for your selfie sessions. the back camera is also well for photos taken in the dark with the help of its flash which is really bright.
Dual SIM(3G)
CanvasTab P680 is a dual SIM calling Tab too. 1 micro sim and 1 mini sim card slots are provided supporting 3G. Call quality was average, didn’t face any call disturbance or drops.
Speakers
The dual box aluminium plated speakers are very loud and give you a great experience while listening music or watching your favorite videos.
Awesome looks
The looks of the the Tab is the deal breaker. getting a tab at this price range and with a great looking tab you can boast to your friends about the Tab. Its a dual color back panel that’s made up of good plastic.
