This is my first review. I was very much attracted when I saw this phone first time in a store. I am writing this review because I wanted this phone but there is not much content on the internet so I want to tell all the readers my experience truly. Ok… lets describe the phone.
Style and Design – In this area the phone got full marks because its look is very good and it looks like a smart phone. Qwerty keyboard make it more precious and easy to write anything. There is a problem also that keys are too small and micromax could do better, but you will find it easy after 3 to 4 days use.
Multimedia – its multimedia features are as like any common phone. Its sound quality is average and video quality is good. There is no audio setting to adjust treble, bass and other feature. It does not support avi format only 3gp or mp4 format you can see. The camera is very bad it is 1.3 mp but I think it is not so it is a vga camera.
Call – Call quality is very good. And there is a setting by which you can set a background sound as road, siren, train etc. and you can make the other person fool. One more thing there is a black list also in which you can set five no. from whom you don’t want to receive a call and they cant call you wow! What a feature.
Network – As you know it support only 900 and 1800 so you cant go to usa with this phone but in India its performance is very good. With me in up ease I am facing a problem with bsnl sim it is not working properly with this phone. So if you are a bsnl subscriber and want to buy this phone please check it before buying.
Battery Backup – Battery of micromax q3 is 1000 mah backup is good. It last for 2 days while using in normal condition I mean you don’t use gprs to much but if u see a lot of video or use gprs then it lasts for only 1 days.
Gprs and Application – Gprs is not very fast using in phone and it is a quite old version opera mini’s version is 3.2 and I found too difficult to enter a web address in it. Opera is not very fast as it is in my old nokia 3110c. I never try nimbus and msn but I hope that they also will not be so useful.
Connectivity – you can connect your phone by pc suite which is available at https://micromaxinfo.com after downloading pc suite you can connect your phone with pc or laptop. After connecting your phone with pc you can use net and its speed is fast. I see many complain about pc suite and how to connect to internet. It is typical but anyone who want help for any operator he can contact me and I can give him pc suite installer also so please if you need help please contact me at anoop_tiwari86@rediffmail.com I am using internet through this phone on my pc while I am writing this review.
Overall the phone is good for the person who has a tight budget and want a stylish and dual sim phone but it give trouble with bsnl. Thanks for reading my first review and please let me know that how can I write better.
