I bought a new Micromax Canvas HD A116 from a reknown retail chain Alif Mobiles in Cochin kerala.The phone seemed fine when I checked it at the spot.It worked fine and seemed fine.Though it felt like it was somehow handled before.But I didnt doubt that as Alif Mobiles sells genuine products.
I bought the phone and went home.After using the phone for two days I was felling comfy with it but it felt sluggish and hung up at some points which was totally unlike the reviews I heard of the phone.After two days the phone began behaving erratically.
Its performance took a nosedive and it started rebooting every once in a while.I thought I had accidentally pressed the power button.But then I noticed that it began rebooting even when I was not touching it.it later just hung up on rebooting over and over again.it couldnt be shut down.It then automatically switched off and then wouldnt start.I took it service center and they were very weird in dealing with me.
They had no courtesy or friendly attitude.They took the phone and began questioning me where the warranty seal got tampered from. I was shocked to know there was no warranty seal.My fears came true that the phone was refurbished.
I made them aware that I dont even know how to properly run the phone let alone open it.And they said the phones motherboard is faulty and needs two weeks to be replaced.
Now think about this guys.....
I buy a pretty decently costly 15K phone that I have hardly used and now its under repair.How is this acceptable.The phone was a refurbished one. Micromax is cheating their customers....I saw atleast 15 people there who also had their phones die out within a weeks time. Go see the service center I mentioned every micromax owner seemed to be disappointed and frustrated
Let compare the scenario. Right across the hal was HTC and Blackberry Service centers.There was hardly one or two people there who wanted their phones repaired.
So in short "micromax is nothing but everything bullshit" that any Chinese phone manufacturer can offer.
I want my phone to be replaced within next week and if this doesnt happen i will not collect the phone and will move the consumer court.i am indirectly being mentally tortured.i dont want to carry with me a phone that broke up in a week...... I paid decently for this phone .this desi brand is proving that it is incompetent against other international brands.
Atleast do some quality check before dispatching your third quality standard phones in the market so that they run properly atleast for 2 months.
My Bill number for this is B1886/13/14 Purchased from Alif Communication, Thripunithura. My micromax job sheet number is R1307FKER4637676(Done by galaxy services Cochin). Please Dont Ever buy Micromax Products.They are Crappy.
Micromax is responsible for my hardships and mental agony.
I Hope they provide a replacement and I will accept nothing short of this.....
