Two products today, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator, dominate the browser world. Internet Explorer 5.5 is packed with features. It supports HTML, DHTML, Javascript, JAVA applets, VB Script, ASP, CSS etc. The Internet Explorer offers basic blocking features such as content advisor and form filling assistance by Autocomplete. Autocomplete is also a feature of windows explorer in Windows98. Surely Internet Explorer is tightly integrated with Windows 98, though it does make the system a bit sluggish but it maintains the feel and look of using the Web-Like interface.
I found the Internet Explorer very easy and simple to use, The keyboard shortcuts such as F11 for full screen, ctrl+d for quickly adding to favorites have made my browsing much easier. Another feature I found very helpful was that If you just type hotmail in the address bar and hit ctrl+enter then the Internet Explorer completes it by putting https://hotmail.com, It does save a lot of time for me.
Those who are reading my review, chances are that you are already using Internet Explorer and you yourself know what a world of difference this superb product from Microsoft brings to your net life.
