Microsoft launched its Lumia 430 smartphone in India which is its most affordable smartphone it cost 2 Rupees 5299 which makes it a great deal for someone looking for a cheap smartphone we played around with the device for a bit at the launch read on for our first impression.
Perhaps the best word to describe the Lumia 430 is cute. The best word to describe the Lumia 430 is cute it is a tiny phone with 4 inch screen while being tiny it is also a white chubby phone measuring in axis of 10 mm.
All this makes the phone fit snugly in the palm.
We felt it was quite good like other Lumia phones its body is made up of plastic and it is available in fruit colours the build quality of the phone is superb and certainly better than what companies like Motorola and Micromax offers in this price budget.
Well it is a nice looking phone the Lumia 430 skips on know lots of features that is powered by an old column dual core processor thankfully do it has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal memory it is even a Micro SD card slot and is a duel SIM three G smartphone. However when you look at the display and the camera you will be disappointed you get a 800 ×480 pixels display which is fine for a phone costing 5000 but it appears to be washed out on the back Microsoft 10 headed it 2 megapixel camera with him some more of obligatory addition than a proper feature on the front there is a VGA camera. Microsoft Lumia camera app is also missing on this device and suffice to say this isn’t the phone you’d want to use to click photos that much we can tell you even from the short time we spent with this device.
Internally it has 1500 MH battery which should be good enough to get your throughout the day considering the small and low res screen and the slow process. That said we haven’t tested the battery so don’t hold your breath on these been true unless you read our review. The good news is that the phone will get an update to Windows 10 . However Windows 8 as of now remaining in inferior OS in front of Android.
Over all the Lumia 430 seems like a decent phone with a higher quality of craftsmanship do this result in laser features compared to what the Android phone provide in this market bracket. Even at rupees 5299 things will be difficult for the Lumia 430 at least that we can take away from our short time with the device.
Sound reception he is not up to mark because you will get minor problems by using the music app and with the speakers also Microsoft store take a serious action on this because many of the people will take the smartphones for a better music and better audio quality but the sound reception is not up to mark you will be very disappointed in the sound reception.
This phone is very tiny to use easily in the hand and comfortable Lee and after upgrading to the Windows 10 we will be having the one hand used for this mobile it’s a very good feature by the Microsoft.
The OS which comes with the Windows 8.1 in its rare breed bill to the Windows 10 also which given by the Microsoft for free. It is a mini features like personal assistant Cortana which works perfectly better than IOS Siri and Google Android Google Now.
This device is not to worth buy in the price of 5299 because under 6000 there are many phones like xiaomi redmi 3S which is comes in just rupees 6000 and there are many other phones in Lumia only like 550 which comes with the many features and more internal storage in just rupees 6700 or 7000.
