Microsoft Lumia 540: Phone Review
Lumia devices are offering customers a confusion to select among various phones for their immediate release of models in lesser gaps, but a clever customer who has a correct idea of the phone he needs, within the most reasonable budget can look into the latest Lumias and 540 is one among them which fits to the price of Rs. 10, 000. When one takes a Lumia 540 on his hands, one can feel the translucent rear panel which just brightens the glossy cover, the slight curvy rectangular bar model with this elegance easily draws one’s attention. Another factor that flavors the elegance is its on screen buttons and black colored volume and power buttons that look good in colored cover.
Coming to the specifications, this 5 inch Lumia phone engineered with great specifications, the screen comes with a 720X1280pixels which offers a slightly better quality than its precede Lumia 535. For its being a budget phone, its processer is Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 with 1GB RAM and 8GB built in memory; though about 4 GB of internal memory goes for the OS. But it has a battery of 2200mAh that works reasonably great with Lumia devices. The primary camera is of 8 megapixels whereas the secondary camera is powered with 5 megapixels which makes the best selfie. At the output side, photos captured were of good quality and the audio was loud and sharp. Video recording seemed just okay, while calling clarity and 3G usage stay superior. The only negative was that, the screen is little bit sluggish, and offered only average performance.
Overall, go for it if you want a stylish phone with reasonably good features that settles at a cost of Rs. 10, 000. The phone comes with four different colors, orange, blue, black and white; with the orange being preferably best!
