A bit of a geek I always look forward to a phone upgrade! Sadly. Very disappointed. This handset is a BIG step down from previous models. Maybe when some updates have been applied I can come back and bring some good news.
But, right now. Its not good sorry Microsoft. A nice looking handset for the price and the screen seems to be ok.
Rather than going on about all my issues with this phone with all the bugs and glitches ive noticed the most frequent issues I have with this handset at the moment are as follows. Crashes/freezes on use of applications, crashes/freezes on storage manager and emails.
Emails with "old email attachments"(not pdfs they are ok) will not open and shows error codes. Camera images sometimes have a strange hue to the picture(no filters applied). Wifi signal strength is poor to say the least. Second High quality sd card bought to extend memory keeps saying error on card? Facbook glitchy, Whatsapp glitchy. Looking at the spec, the handset is a cost down version of the old 735. Slower processor, charger looks cheap, cheap plastic feel to the case.
I wont go on just have a look at the specs of the two phones to compare the difference. Wish I didn’t drop my 730:( I am sure the boys and girls at Microsoft will improve this handset soon, until then I’m sorry to say I have to score this phone as a could do(MUCH) better. I expect more from Microsoft. I’m sure you are working on this for us an look forward to any improvements. Please do it soon! I’m sticking with it for now. On the plus side it has a great gps sports app that I use to track my cycle routes! Because of this app I’ve scored you two rather than a one
