Windows apps are not outdated but I think you are outdated. For your kind information, there were 700000 apps in september 2015. Everyday ios developers are adding own applications through project islandwood(if you know a little bit about it). Instagram app is there with much more improved ui. New shareit, facebook, messenger universal app is there if you need. The thing needed is update some of your knowledge and update your phone. It is better to use ios apps than that of android which is malware content. So Microsoft closed project astoria( to port android apps to windows). Ok, I can understand if you don’t have much work on your pc then you can switch to other platform. Otherwise it is best to use a windows phone at work.
