The latest version of Microsoft Office is 2013 and I use that one, so I will review just that. It is basically a productivity suite(of products) from Microsoft and it has components like excel, word which are the 2 most commonly used programs of this suite.
Microsoft Office is 2013 was released in year 2013 and hence the name. It is very similar to Microsoft Office 2010(it’s previous version) but it is made compatible and easy to use with touch based devices.
Also, it is more cloud-oriented now, that is you need to create a Microsoft account and login now. That also makes it possible to sync your documents with other devices, that means you can access your documents from any registered machine as long as you can login to the Microsoft account.
They also extended support to some new and some old document formats. UI wise it boasts of a flatter and more tile-based screen which is easier to use on touch screens.
Verdict: You simply cannot live without Microsoft Office is 2013.
