Microsoft Visual Studio from 2005 to 2012 helped me a lot for creating all types of project but now when i’m developing application using newer version of Visual Studio Like 2012 there is only backup left for older version. Unable to run project back in older versions of visual studio. When an old software was made in an older version of visual studio people are used to that version when making/updating changes to that old software in a new version of IDE there is no way back. In other IDEs projects used to run in an older version & fixes issues itself for that time.
But in visualstudio it’s possible by arranging all files once again which is a tedious task. So some solution must be there to create & run projects in both versions of software.
