Why BC? Well it actually should belong to that era.
I am talking about the operating system we use in office. In my house I got MS Windows ME, which is very satisfying and fast.
We were using MS Windows 98 very comfortably, till some wisecrack decided to ’upgrade’. Well grade we did, but was it upgrade, none of us feel so.
I am no computer geek myself. But it seems MS Windows 2000 is very secure and is the ideal OS for networks. Well, its taking more time out of its employees and who will account for the costs lost due to the time lost?
It is a very painstaking process to log in. Even after logging it takes a whole lot of time to load programs. Windows 98 was so very fast. It also does not let you do a lot of normal funtions which you could do in Windows 98, like defragmenting, etc.
Security or no security, Windows 2000 BC is not ideal when you want to work fast on your computer. Maybe MS should come up with a product as fast as Windows ME which has the security features of Windows 2000.
