Customer support: Worst

I purchased xbox recently (5th July 2012). It was bundled with 2 DVDs




  1. Gun fighter




  2. Kinect adventure






According to the website of Microsoft, the retailer(Chroma) along with XBOX bundle I was supposed to get 3 month gold membership and 2 more dvds

On 8th July, I mailed Microsoft along with my details to send me my freebees. On 10th July, I got a response from them saying that they have dispatched my DVDs (according to them they dispatched it on 7th July). On 10th July, I got the courier which had 2 DVDs

I called up the customer care and asked them why I got these DVDs. To this, they told me that this was the offer. I don’t know why Microsoft would be fool (or consider there customers fool enough) to send 2 DVDs of same game (Gun striker). On 17th July I got a response that this was the offer. I reverted them with the snapshot of the deal. After constant reminder, I got a response on 9th Aug that they have dispatched my DVDs. I asked them for details as to where have they dispatched it and the courier details. Till date I haven’t received the courier and even after constant follow up, no one have replied with the details and nor have I received anything. It seems as if I am dealing with a government department where it really takes people more then a month to reply to a mail. Now I am planning to sell my XBOX off. It costs 10k more then PS3 + gold membership fee.


I think PS3 is much better as to customer support and feedback and the freebies they provide.
