Xbox One, Playstation Zero

Alright, I am writing this review as a first-time xbox-anything owner. Since 2002, I have been an avid Sony gamer, and before that it was all Nintendo. Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, N64, and the last three Playstation systems(PS2, PS3 and PS4) have all, at one time, been my systems.

I purchased a PS4 several months after it came out, believing the hype. "Greatness Awaits." . After having my system over a year, I got tired of waiting.

The games were ranging from pretty fun(Infamous: SS) to mediocre and soulless(Killzone: Shadow Fall) to shiny, pretty turds(The Order: 1886 and Driveclub). On the verge of calling quits with gaming altogether, my wife suggested I give the Xbox One a try.

Now, having never owned an Xbox of any generation, I was very against it(yes, I was a blatant fan boy), but decided to keep an open mind and try it out. Wow, was it ever worth it.

There are only two areas where the PS4 is better than Xbox one - the UI on the making screen, and graphics(barely noticeable), but that is it. The controller is better, the games are phenomenally better, Xbox customer support actually cares(unlike Play station support who, it seems, almost loathes PS gamer), and Xbox Live is hands-down better than Play station Network. The system is slightly larger but runs quieter noticeably, and is a much cooler system all around. With another Gears of War game rumored to be in the works and both Halo 5 and Rise of the Tomb Raider right around the corner, there is no real reason to give Sony any of your money. You owe it to yourself to buy the best entertainment package money can buy - and, at the moment, that is Microsoft’s wonder machine, the Xbox One.
