Xbox one x is an improves version of xbox one in fact it should have been the xbox one in first place as xbox one was too expensive and way less powerful when compared to ps4 but xbox one x is a more powerful device than a ps4 pro. I have been using it for past 7 months and to say that my experience has been very enjoyable with it. Xbox one x has support for native 4k games and is able to play them at a very high fps like even it might reach 60fps which is very hard in case of consoles and the kinect which can be bought separately is great addition to play with friends.
The Microsoft new games sharing across platform and backward compatiable games are a boon if you own previous version of xbox as u can enjoy them without paying again to buy them. So in all I would say that go for an xbox one x if want a more future proof console as it better option than ps4.
