I have been using mickrotec 800 EB UPS inverter since 2007 march and found it very reliable for erratic power conditions of Gurgaon. My friend suggested me a shop in OLD GGN and bought this only by chance , however I was using e genus at my parents house.
Here are points for this inverter I would like to say
1) it is very silent and and output is pure sine wave so no noise in fans and harm to sophisticated electronics items.
2) By default it is a UPS so very safe to use with PC, i have never exp issue with my broadband connection resetting due to power cuts.
3) very efficient so not much heavy on power bills.
4) I suggest use tubular battery only if you intend to use heavy items(cooler/29 inch TV) else normal battery will do good. However I am using tubular as I run 2 laptops , 2 fans and cooler.
5) charging is not an issue even in low voltage.
6) Easily absorbs overloading (many times due to faulty wiring our water heater went to inverter but no harm as of now)
Only thing I can think of as Cons is it is very heavy and unattractive. Maybe new models are light and smart but looking at performance side it can be ignored.
