An award winning book !

This is really a good book.

Well, it is basically a semi fictional account of writer.

And, one must praise him for depicting a number of cities- Bombay of past(mumbai), Sri Nagar, Delhi and Pakistani cities.

It is also good because it spins yarn in such a great manner that one is left enchanted by it.This saga of Salim Sinai is a great way to understand India of past.

Salman Rushdie is a good writer and one can call him a gifted writer! Many literary critics have panned this book for imaginary but if one closely reads it;then he has successfully depicted some known events of past. Any wonder, this book won Booker’s prize.
