Didn't enjoy this one

Midnight’s Children is a book which left me disappointed. With so much hype associated with this one, my expectation was very high. I did manage to finish it, but it was not an enjoyable experience. Maybe it is something to do with the Rushdie style of writing. You need to have plenty of patience to go through it.

You have to go half way through the book to get some idea about what it is all about.

This book must have won the booker prize, but as a reader, I didn’t enjoy it and won’t recommend it to anybody. I haven’t tried another Rushdie after this. Rushdie is not for simple guys like me.
