No customer service, no quality, no accountability

The customer service of Milkbasket are all automated bots and you will never get a single response line that is not pre-scripted, ever. Furthermore, even to talk to this bot agent the wait times are so abysmal that the queue often starts from 120-150+ in waiting, thats easily an hour of waiting for trivial issues, and you can bet these issues will be often since their products and services are so bad. Then when you finally talk to the agent, it seems its handling multiple chats because each response can take as much as 10 minutes which is wild. There is NO way to call them, no way to escalate or complain about staff, that alone should tell you the scam they are running on name of customer care. This kind of shady business practices on such a big platform should straight up be illegal. They should be forced to provide a customer care number and human customer care agents.

Their products are often near expiry or already spoiled, they hoard large amounts of stock driving up the prices and then when it doesnt sell they put them in clearance merely less than a month before they expire, or just a couple of days before they expire. This kind of corporate greed needs to be studied because it is highly unethical to spoil food in this manner only for it to go to landfill.

The fresh products like fruits and vegetables are no better. The sale or deal produce is just rejected produce that is mouldy, spoiling, damaged or below subpar during harvest, its completely different from higher priced produce. No company should claim to have quality control and then pack rotting and unfit for consumption food to a paying customer, that kind of negligence and lack of basic common sense is staggering. Their produce weights are also faulty, unlike other providers, they do not provide produce by weight and write ambiguous things like 300-500gm and it will always be 300gm. Sometimes the packet size variation for a vegetable or fruit is as high as 300-700gm and they will deliver like 350gm, thats an insane amount of weight discrepancy, so they are overcharging a lot by misrepresenting.

Quality issues are also rampant in both products and services. Wrong quantity, spoiled products, expired products, damaged products, late orders, orders delivered to wrong addresses often, orders thrown on ground causing breakage or spillage, orders mishandled causing contamination of goods like dairy and so on, I can keep going. Its a complete nightmare. All this with a customer care that is just a facade for a badly written auto response program that rarely solves any issues.

All they ever do is parrot pre written customer service response but there has been zero improvement in service over the years, in fact the services are in a steady decline. This companys entire USP was convenience of receiving goods daily on your doorstep, but with so many failures, its not really convenient for customer to keep haggling for their money back as a result of numerous service failures. Just like every company reliance acquires and runs it into ground with abysmal service, milk basket is no different.
