Minerva, what can I say? I’ve been eating there for the past 10yrs, and the taste hasnt changed one bit.. it really tastes the very same.. almost everything.. and I dont know how far yu all will agree... but I think besides the bandi-wali idli’s (yummy!), Minerva is the best for a proper sit & eat restaurant... I make it a point to start my day with Minerva in some way or the other.. coz am complete idli dosa vada maddie.. and the chutney and sambhar yu get at Minerva.. that taste cannot be matched to any other restaurant anywhere in the world, I can confirm that, coz I know.. I always wish to find the same taste any place else, and no.. cant! wont!
there isnt any other place like Minerva.. absolutely the best...
Yes, I do agree, that it is expensive, and with Gayatri bhavan just across the street, ppl to tend to skip it!!
But then, comfortable seating, buzzing with ppl and food, neat place, idlis, dosas, 70mm dosa - wow!, button idli with tha exotic karampudi, and then yu finish it with coffeee.. I highly recommend cold coffee with chocolate ice cream!!! woooowww!! its just simplly heavenly... to start a morning like that... ooooooh... I wish I could do all year round and not just one month in the whole freaking year...
anyways... I luve the place... I luve the foood there... my fav food place in hyd is minerva, for breakfast.. I am a complete foodie.. so I have different places in mind which are ideal for lunch and dinner!
