“The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object.”
The most awaited situation has come and after few days about to go also, but the normal citizen couldn’t feel it. Yes you read it right, it’s about to go after few days. When Bihar went under presidential rule it was a dream come true for most of the public but they couldn’t feel the difference and the reason was the prominent proxy, thrown by helpless center government.
Crime graph is still not under control, and it can’t be because the ruling people are still influenced by well know “aakas”of these criminals. The share of the money and everything else goes to these grimy minded people. The fear factor in the mind is still there and general public is still not feeling confident towards system. The reason is simple and straight forward. They know the reality of this proxy government.
It is said that if you want to change the system, the first and foremost principle is that it should be visible to the masses. If people can’t feel the difference no matter whatever you are doing, it can’t be said commendable effort. Indeed it’s true in the case of Bihar, we couldn’t see any difference, nothing in administration, nothing in law and order, neither environment nor the mentality.
When we will talk about the responsibility everyone will accuse the general public for not giving “satta” to correct people. This statement is true, but when we dig out the actual reason behind this problem we come up with the actual dirty game. Where people are not able safe their life, protect their families. Forget about providing better education to their children they are even not able to send them to school. Now are you expecting them to go till booth and caste vote against those, who anytime can snitch their lives? Question arises now, who will change the scenario. Of course expectations are not from those who are dancing on fingers.
For a change we don’t need any “farista” nor we need any “chamatkar”, we just need to build our willpower and change our mentality. Take a first step towards paradise, and I bet it will be ours.
Always remember the sayings of Abraham Lincoln, “No man is good enough to govern another man without that others consent.”
