Privatise it...

All the sectors under government are having the same problems, i.e. lack of service, non-profit making, running in loss, heavy debts, power theft, unprofessional employee’s etc..

Now that the Ministry is with the government for minute change it has to go to the parliament and it has to be passed by both the house etc.. which in turn consumes hell lot of time and sometime the bill doesn’t get passed the matter stays on paper only.

These are the few problems that are existing in the government sectors and the power sector.

The only solution I find is to privatize the

power sector. Privatize in my sense doesn’t mean that government losses full control of this sector, instead all the private players are allowed to invest in this sector and manage the whole thing where as government have a eye on the sectors.

Or the other way is to privatize the power sector and let the private players come up, where in they provide power to the whole country which in turn would be beneficial for the users because when you allow private companies into it they would have competition in all sense, due to which each would try to provide the best service to the user.

The main reason that people in remote areas don’t get electricity is because of power theft, because of which the needy people don’t get electricity.

If the government could take stern actions against the criminals they could curb this problem to a great extent, but the government becomes helpless because the people involved in these matter are related to politics so the government can’t take actions.

Privatization would bring in lots of discipline and responsibility into the employees, which would result into the output of the employees.

Lets hope sooner or later this happens.
