Mirai is worth watching

Mirai is an ambitious fantasy-action adventure that largely delivers what it promises: stunning visuals, good action, and solid performances. The film takes you through exotic locations like Japan and Morocco ( or similar grand settings) , giving it a global and epic feel. The set designs are rich and elaborate, though at times the VFX gives off a slightly childish vibe some effects look over-stylized and less polished, especially in wide shots.

One drawback is that the trailer reveals too many major moments. I felt like a lot of excitement was already used up before the actual viewing. Still, the background score is excellent, elevating many scenes, especially the emotional ones, and enhancing the tension during fights. The action sequences are good: well choreographed, exciting, and with strong villainy Manchu Manoj particularly stands out in his role as the antagonist.

The movie does stretch close to three hours, which shows—there are portions where pace slows and certain subplots feel unnecessary. But there are moments of satire sprinkled in, which offer welcome relief ( I laughed in that scene) . If you like big fantasy epics, mythology-based storytelling, and aren’t too turned off by length and slightly overused visual tropes, Mirai is definitely worth the watch.
