I booked this hotel through MakeMyTrip. It is located on the Panchgani Mahabaleshwar road. The approach road is very narrow. Only one car can pass at a time. The reception is small. The staff was polite. They escorted us to the room.
And.the view from the room stole our breath. It is the best. Amazing view through the huge glass. You can see Dhom dam and adjacent small mountains. You can ly in bed and see the view. That is the best part of it.
The bed was clean. The bathroom was clean. Nice Jaguar fittings. 24 hours hot water supply. They have 12 rooms, out of which 2 are suite rooms. I wanted to take a look at the suite rooms but they were occupied. 5 rooms have a balcony.
We ordered food from their restaurant. It was delicious. We asked for non-spicy food, and they made it well. The breakfast was nice. Fresh strawberries, tomato omelet, medu Wada, sambar. All the food was tasty and fresh.
This is a pure vegetarian place. They do not serve alcohol and non-veg food. So please make a note of it.
There is a parking available for maybe 5-7 cars maximum(only if parked smartly).
The staff is very polite and courteous. They asked for a feedback during checkout and it felt that the feedback really matters to them.
Mapro garden is 4 km away from this place. Devrai art village is 1.5 km away. Kamat is also 1-2 km away. So if you feel like having food outside, that option is also open. Parsi point is also quite near. You can actually see it from your room. You can see beautiful sunrise towards your right if you are standing in your room looking out the window and it is a beautiful sight. I will share few photos along with this review.
This place is close to nature. Hence monkeys jumping on the roofs is something you should expect and that should not bother you much.
The rooms do have AC, but with cool breeze flowing, we did not actually use it.
The tv connection was lost due to wire cut issue in Panchgani. Although I was very happy to know that it was resolved at high priority from hotel’s side.
They provide 1-liter water complimentary every day.
Points to improve the hotel - Cleanliness of glass window is a tough task. It should be done more carefully else it leaves patches on the window and looks ugly.
The staff should visit the rooms as less as possible. Some guests may not like the disturbance.
