Me and my husband stayed in munnar for 3 days and 3 nights. The room was booked well in advance. Unfortunately the room we saw on internet was looking good but that was not true. We had booked a standard room which costed us Rs. 1400 per night. When we reached, we saw that the room was extremely small and not at all clean. The table, walls and curtains were very dirty. The razai/ rug, they provided was very bad. It never kept us warm. And since it was winter, we felt very cold and I fell sick.
When we complained to the management, they said, that this is what we get for Rs. 1400 and they offered us an executive room for Rs. 2300. This was on the top floor with no lift. This room was spacious but then again, it was not worth Rs. 2300. Food was very nice and tasty but no cleanliness. The spoons were not washed, plates were dirty, etc. We couldn’t move out of the hotel, because we had paid for the room previously. It was a mistake.
Final word: Please don’t go to this hotel or else you’ll repent.
