Miss Congeniality 2, is the total opposite of the first part......In one sentence-boring and totally not worth it!!God knows when the story started and when it ended!!
STORY PLOT:
The story centres around FBI Agent Gracy Hart, who in the first part is declared Miss Congeniality by the Miss United States contestants.She has gained a lot of popularity in a span of three weeks.
She is heart-broken when her boyfriend(ex), Agent Eric Matthews breaks up with her.She then decides to become a new face of the FBI and gives up all her fighting and hardcore tactics and image.
She transforms from a strong, fearless agent to an obsessed, famous celebrity(like Tia from Remix)!!
She is then teamed up with Agent Sam Fuller, a strong and very dedicated agent who dislikes her from the very beginning.
They both are sent to Las Vegas, Gracy for a press conference and Sam her bodyguard(Sam’s a lady ok people)!!
There they find out that Gracy’s friend and Miss United States, Cheryl Fracier, is again in trouble, as in the first part.....Only here she’s kidnapped along with Sam Fields.
Then, Gracy, along with her bodyguard, Sam transforms herself back to her old-self of a fighting agent and rescues her friends by solving the mystery by finding clues to the kidnappers!
CHARACTERS:
GRACY HART:
Played by Sandra Bullock, is an FBI Agent and then a famous celebrity....But alas, she transforms back to her tough self and then no one recognizes her nor follows her around for autographs!!
Bullock gives a satisfying performance, though not very good.She lacks the hilarious image in this sequel which she was loaded with in the first one.
SAM FULLER:
Played by Regina King, is the tough and rough FBI Agent who can scare you with her tough image!!It looks as if she’s an escaped convict whose joined the FBI!
She turns out to be a very good Tina Turner personator in a Vega gay bar!!She later becomes and stays Gracy’s partner in all her cases!
CHERYL FRACIER:
Played by Heather Burns, is Miss United States.It looks like she always lands up in trouble and has Gracy save her!Only in this sequel, she claims to Gracy that she’s prone to trouble!An honest lady!!
CONCLUSION:
The movie has a good and sensible story plot, but the style statements are great!The comedy which was there in the first sequel is not there any more, just lame remarks!!So, instead of this movie go and watch another movie......Or you will just be wasting your precious money!!!!!
