I saw this play in Toronto and it was fabulous. The sets , the acting , the story was marvelous. The special effects with the helicopter scene.........
This is a story of a young scared American soldier fighting a war he knows not why .
He goes with his buddies one night to relax and meets one sweet young ’’child’’ whom he falls for . Little does he know she is being primed to be a prostitute.
When he does find out , he sets out to save her only to find he has fallen in love with her.
They marry and then the war is over. He gets pulled back to the states and she ........left behind.
This is the tragic love story gone awry . It is about love found , lost and refound .........but too late .
As a film , as a play , a musical whatever you wish to call it .......... no one should miss seeing Miss Saigon.
