The review title may or may not make sense pertaining to where you(referring to my faithful readers) are located on the globe. If youve never heard of Missha and their popular BB(blemish balm) creams:
to put it right there, beauty & skincare is to the Asians as haircare technology is to the Germans. Korean beauty giant, Missha offers quality skincare, bodycare, haircare and makeup products at affordable prices. Their cleansers, toners, moisturisers, body lotions and makeup are extremely innovative with their maquillage especially available at a plethora of colours.
Their eyeshadow was one of the very first ones I had purchased; I have not hit pan as yet and the quality hasnt changed a teeny tiny bit- thats a good thing!
The robotic name, GR201 stands for a shade of green; the one I purchased was a bright parrot green shade. The texture is neither shimmery nor pearly, infact its well within the middle. At first look, it appears quite matte. Even when applied on the lids it looks matte. Unless one is exceptionally physically close to you , he/she wouldnt be able to visibly identify the pearly sheen it lends to your eyes. Green in general is known to pack a pretty big punch, but the hardest colours to recreate in makeup art include the bright shades- yellows, reds, oranges, greens, turquoises, blues, blacks, silvers and gold. Misshas parrot green applies on the eyes exactly the way it looks in the pan- bright, no sheerness whatsoever; what you see is what you get.
This product is priced at ~R.O. 6, i.e. ~Rs.600., which renders it semi-expensive, but in terms of the quality and when compared to similar eyeshadows in the market, it results in a major BANG for your buck.
Final grade- A-; definitely comparable to M.A.C. eyeshadows- enables you to save atleast Rs.120.
