Should you accept it:..? YESS...!

Action movie sequels seems to be reinventing in 2011, the year started off in a bang with the fifth installment of Fast and furious series, and it continues with the all new Mission Impossible 4 Ghost protocol.

Tom cruise returns with all guns blazing reprising his role as Action superstar "Ethen Hunt". Directed by Brad bird (Director of Pixar’s The Incredibles and Rataouille) the film takes out the best bits of the previous films of the franchise and provides a good freshstart.. The film has got a familiar "Implausible" plotline.. Ethen and his crew is after a russian nuclear strategist code named "Cobalt" who plans to start a nuclear war to start the next stage of human evolution.. Cobalt blows up Moscow Kremlin which the Russians calls an undeclared act of war.. Subsequently, the US president activates "Ghost Protocol", a black operation contingency that disavows the entire IMF unit. Hunt and team are to take the blame for the attack, but will be allowed to escape from government custody so that they may operate to track down Cobalt and if they fail they will be branded as terrorists.. Now in order to rescue their organization Hunt and his crew should eliminate cobalt and his sinister plans to wipe off america.. Do they succeed..? Watch Ghost Protocol to get the answer...

Ghost protocol is a good popcorn entertainer.. Infact its plotline doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.. But the film works for its terrific setpieces and some very good performances from its cast.. At the age of 49 Tom cruise once again proves himself that he is the ultimate action hero.. Watch him in that scene where he virtually runs down the world’s tallest building in the world: The Burj Khalifa, with a rope attached to his body..! The scene shot on an IMAX camera is believed to be performed by Mr. Cruise himself..! But my favorite infact is that sandstorm scene where ethen chases cobalt following the GPS signals from his Apple phone.. It’s a thrilling sequence which will remain in our minds for a long, long time..!

The other cast includes the new Jason Bourne JEREMY RENNER (as William brandt) the seriously hot and sexy Paula Patton (as Jane carter) and Simon pegg as the assistant to cruise reprising his role from the last film.. Anil Kapoor’s cameo role is also a joy to watch.. He is charming as an Indian billionaire giving away killer expressions..!

But the real kudos must go to Brad Bird: The director of this film.. It’s his first real film freaturing human characters and he has definitely injected some fresh energy into a series which seemed like running out of fuel (MI-3 an exception here).. He cleverly makes the four IMF member’s into a copy rendition of the superhero family from The Incredibles.. Infact the basic theme of this film seems like being inspired by that film.. Especially the climax sequence.. Watch how bird cleverly invokes emotions in the end throwing a nostalgic moment between hunt and his ex-wife.. .. Before the curtain closes we see hunt listening to the sound clipping of IMF before every mission:- Your Mission should you choose to accept it..? Don’t even have a doubt in accepting this mission go and have a blast in theatres..! I’m going with 4 out of 5 for Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, it’s a must watch for the fans of the series for others its a good one-time watch.. For the old MI fans like myself just the familiarity of the theme music over the opening credits is enough to settle you in your seats.. Go with a bucket full of popcorn and get ready to be entertained..!
